Pitch and Depth Controller LTR5~Running a sub steadily at periscope depth is really an achievement for any model submariner.
The LTR5 offers an automated system to succeed in this kind of manoeuvre. The LTR5 does not only offer a combination of pitch and depth controller but an interactive system of the two devices in a single unit.

This new version of the LTR will hold submarine models at a depth set by the transmitter via the dive planes.
In addition, the LTR5 has an output that can handle a proportionally operated piston tank.

Static Dive Module TEAS~This upgrade kit includes the ready-soldered control unit TAES with pressure sensor. The unit is easy to
install as it must only be mounted on top of the TAE switch unit.

Engel Magnetic Switch~This switch is operated by a magnet. Therefore, the receiver can be switched on and off just by moving the
magnet from front to back (or vice versa) of a certain area of the hull without having to open the model.

As soon as the switch has been sucessfully acitvated (or deactivated) a "peep" sound is heard and a LED lights up.

Required but not included is a magnet such as item-no. 1569.

This new pitch controller is really mini!

At 30x21x8mm it really has the dimension of a stamp. Nevertheless, it is a "grown-up" pitch
controller built in SMD technology. It will stabilise miniature just as well as the biggest submarine models.
The sensitivity is adjustable smoothly over a wide range. The horizon is set by appropriate mounting and adjusted from the transmitter.

Dynamic switch or manual:
If you move the transmitter stick more than half way the controller is reduced in sensitivity and switched
off at full way. So you have direct manual control over your model if required without searching for an "off"button. This new version uses the newest generation of sensors which is on the market for just a
year now. The sensor uses hot air and detects its movement in a small cavity by a silicon chip. This sensor is maintenance-free, extremly robust and works very precise.

The software is entirely built in 'C'. This allows virtually stepless servo movements even at high sensitivity settings. You can not distinguish it from an analog controller.
Of course the device can handle unstable RC-signals also. Short glitches are removed. Longer pauses will force the controller to 'horizontal' and switch off the servo after 20 seconds (to reduce power consumption).
The new hardware is smaller than that of its predecessor. This allows us to pack it into a robust, CNC-milled housing.
The sensitivity to a weak power supply is fairly reduced, enabling the controller to work with fast and powerful digital servos.

Working Dive Planes For GATO~This unit allows the front diving planes of the SS212 GATO to be retracted via R/C.
The diving planes remain fully operational as long as the planes are in their horizontal position. In all other
positions operation of the diving planes is blocked by an electric switch unit.
The unit consists of an inboard drive system which is placed within the WTC behind the front bulk head.
The mechanism itself is fitted in the flooded area at the bow section of the hull.

This upgrade kit includes:

• Retract mechanism with pre-fabricated parts (in kit form)
• Front diving planes (cast in Resin)
